    Sacred Geometry

Sacred Geometry refers to the universal mathematical and symbolic patterns that are found naturally in nature, in the planets, within our own being, and reproduced within all religious arts. The action of drawing these patterns reconnects us with the primordial universal order, thus enabling a harmonious interdependence within one’s being and with the Universe. The action of colouring these patterns increases the joy and flow of creativity.

Plato says: “harmonious forms are meant to correct any discord which may have arisen in the courses of the soul, and to be our ally in bringing her into harmony and agreement with herself.”

  • Pilgrimage to Bhutan in April

    Pilgrimage to Bhutan in April

    Dear Friends,

Everyone knows the Kingdom of Bhutan.  Being Bhutanese myself, it is my deep desire to share this jewel with members of the Sangha.

This is why I have decided to bring those who so desire on a trip with me there from April 19, 2014 to May 6, 2014.

Situated on the Eastern side of the Himalayas, Bhutan is the only country in the world that has Vajrayana Buddhism as its state religion.

Throughout the centuries, great Tibetan and Indian masters such as Guru Padmasambava, Milarepa, Matchik Labdreun, Padampa Sangye and many others have marked the country spiritually.

The third Gyalwang Drukpa (15th century) established the Drukpa lineage in Bhutan through one of his disciples.  Because of this, Bhutan is named “Drukyul”, the country of the dragon and its inhabitants are called “Drukpa”.

Today, the current king and Dje Khenpo, the spiritual leader of Bhutan, are working tirelessly to develop the country and preserve its natural and cultural riches.

During this pilgrimage to Bhutan, I will have the great pleasure of taking you to the east of the country, and more precisely, to Chungkar, my native region.  We will then cross the country from east to west in car, going to Thimpu, the capital, while also discovering numerous villages and visiting several sacred sites: Tashigang, Trongsar, Punakha, Paro Taksang.

For more information and enrolment, please contact Annelie Huguet.

I am very pleased to take part in this pilgrimage with you and hope that you will be numerous in accompanying me.

    Drubpon Ngawang Tenzin
